RNL Connects is a series of regional meetings designed to bring together recreation practitioners and volunteers from across the province to connect, collaborate, and share ideas. These free events will take place in Eastern, Western, Central, and Labrador regions, offering participants an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, professional development, and strategic planning for the future of recreation in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Each regional meeting includes dedicated sessions for practitioners and volunteers, featuring updates on Recreation NL programs and services, strategic plan discussions, interactive roundtables on key topics, and professional development opportunities. Attendees will also take part in a collaborative strategic planning session to help shape the next direction of Recreation NL.

A meet-and-greet social and election will be held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, providing all participants with an opportunity to network and connect across roles.

Whether you are a practitioner or volunteer, RNL Connects offers a valuable space to build relationships, share insights, and strengthen the recreation sector across the province.

PLEASE NOTE:  RNL Connects - Central Regional Meeting is being rescheduled to June 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM (previously June 18th 2026).

The event will now be happening virtually on TEAMS. Once you register, you will be sent a TEAMS calendar invite.
